SYRACUSE — Wawasee High School will host the annual art show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, in the auditorium surge area.
Hundreds of works of art from a wide range of media will be on display.
Students from Wawasee earned eight gold keys at the regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards in Fort Wayne. One student, Wynter Rhoads, a junior, became the first student in the school’s history to win a national medal in the 2017 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards with her drawing, “Untitled 13.” She will be recognized at Carnegie Hall in June and her artwork will be on display in the Pratt Manhattan Gallery in New York City.
